Indie Playlist Mondays

Every week, we’ll share ten new tracks and videos that make us say yay!
Allow us to complement your growing indie playlist with some of the sweetest tunes.
We don’t rate with numbers because everything is cat-approved.

01. Loverboy – Get Honey

Reuel: This track made me redefine my concept of drippin’ wet. Keep an ear out for Loverboy’s upcoming EP out in due time. I’m sure that by then you’ll also get honey.

02. The Morning Benders – Last Night (The Strokes cover)

Howard: This one’s a little old, but it’s nice to hear a favorite being remade completely. Funky, fresh, friendly and hopeful. We hope the best for the ex-Cali kids.

03. Jodie Marie – I Got You (Shook Remix)

Roddy: Shook comes thru with another great mix, this young gun never disappoints!

04. Rubik – World Around You

Howard: Helsinki 10-friggin-piece band Rubik is looking clean. Let’s see what they have to share about themselves in 2012.

05. Solar Bears feat. Sarah P – Alpha People

Roddy: Sweetest Sarah from Keep Shelly In Athens lends her voice to this luscious new track by Solar Bears.

06. Ulrich Schnauss & Jonas Munk – Chasing Rainbows

Roddy: Just vibin’ out to some raw vibes, ‘na mean?

07. G-Side – Cinematic

Howard: Off of Island, Cinematic starts off this solid-as-fuck record nicely. We see you Alabama, and we like.

08. FKi feat. Iggy Azalea – I Think She Ready

Reuel: Enjoy this single from the upcoming Mad Decent presents FKi mixtape. Many hands were responsible for the production of this track and many more asses will shake in dancehalls across the globe.

09. Ku Bo feat. Tshila – Kaggua (Beat Laden remix)

Reuel: Earlier today, a download was made available via Man Recordings for this remix by Beat Laden of Lisbon, Portugal. If you wonder how I start my Mondays most mornings, pressing play on this bad boy will get you off on the right foot.

10. Oliver – Audio Speedwagon Pt. 1

Howard: A very funky mixtape to get your Monday lag out and your tush looking smangin’. Courtesy of the never-failing Oliver.

We’ll be sure to keep your seat warm and the groove intact until next week’s indie playlist — Sweetest Drip got yer back.
