Indie Playlist Mondays

Every week, we’ll share ten new tracks and videos that make us say yay!
Allow us to complement your growing indie playlist with some of the sweetest tunes.
We don’t rate with numbers because everything is cat-approved.

01. Krazy Baldhead – Surabaya Girl

Reuel: A very soothing song and video from the label that brings you some of the most renowned bangers worldwide.

02. Swick – Pasta

Reuel: You know me and tribal/jungle-esque beats — guaranteed b-b-b-bounce. I was turned on to Swick by our friends at Chicedelic.

03. Kaptain Cadillac – Ghetto Zoo

Reuel: I’m gonna bring Twerk Team Five on a field trip to the ghetto zoo.

04. Big Sean – Marvin & Chardonnay (Xaphoon Jones Remix)

Howard: One-half of Chiddy Bang, Xaphoon Jones brings out a slick remix

05. Overthrill – Nasty Love (Monsieur Adi Remix)

Howard: Fuck. Monsieur~~~~~~~~~~~

06. Margie Joseph – How Do You Spell Love (Disco Tech Edit)

Howard: I love remixes. They help you find artists you’ve never known before. How do you spell LOVE Margie J? Lay it on us.

07. Blu – Jesus△ (prod. Madlib)

Reuel: This is the stuff: quality production, proper visuals, and a non-preachy flow despite the topic.

08. Shlohmo – wen uuu

Howard: Shlomo’s due out with an EP Feb. 7 via Friends of Friends. Wen uuu gonna be this slick?

09. Citizens! – Reptile (Goldroom Remix)

Roddy: Goldroom works his magic on an already catchy tune from indie buzzband Citizens! This track is part of Kitsune’s Parisien II compilation.

10. CBEAT – Airstream Mix

Roddy: Conor Bevan (AKA Debonair) as CBEAT puts out a beast of a mixtape. Not so new but definitely fresh and worth a thousand listens! Check out our recent feature on him.

We’ll be sure to keep your seat warm and the groove intact until next week’s indie playlist — Sweetest Drip got yer back.
